Amber passes the bar and starts working for Nicholas' law firm. At first it's all work and Amber already had a bit of a crush on Nicholas, but when she accidentally sees a bit more of Nicholas than she was expecting, that crush goes into full blown lust. Nicholas sees Amber and wants her just as much, but is it smart to get involved with someone that works for him?

I have waited for this story for months now, and in the end I found it just ok. Super short, with some drama, a few hot naughty bits, and an H that needed a throat punch. The ending and how Amber handled Nicholas is what bumped this up from 3 to 4 stars, good for her. I give this 4 stars.

“Evelyn?” I probe, still seated, my fingers steepled at my chin.

“Eve, please call me Eve.”

“Oh, great. Since we’re picking names and titles, please call me Sir.” My words are smooth, yet with the dip in my timbre, I come across more demanding. And let’s face it—I am fucking demanding.

Her eyebrow hitches, and the green sparkles playing against her almost chocolate eyes reel me into her mind. Grabbing a stray strand of her slightly curled honey brown hair must give her that second she needs to bring her mind to the present. “Um, excuse me?” she asks, still standing, her tits about to fall out of the too small dress that shows every luscious curve of her body.

Eve's life has pretty much been crap for as long as she can remember; her drunk father cared more about getting booze than keeping them with a roof over their head and that wasn't really the worst part. She has no faith or trust in anyone but herself and now after yet another run in with her father, Eve is reaping the benefit of that by having to be evicted. She ends up having to beg her friend Kira for a couch to sleep on and a hook up with an interview for a new job. Eve was so unprepared for the can of worms that she opens in doing so. Meeting Chadwick opens her eyes into a world she never thought she would ever witness much less be a part of. A bet made, a month's worth of time, will Eve hold out on Chad or will she cave and give into temptation?

Leigh Lennon normally has some really steamy naughty bits; the on fire, need to fan myself, my glasses have fogged up kind; and we get a few bits in this story, but it wasn't with the MC's.  Now, I did take into account what Eve was being introduced to, and seeing as I am a HUGE fan of the BDSM genre.. I found this to be lacking a bit. Still a very good story with loads of drama that pulls you in; if this was based on the BDSM aspect it would be 2.5 stars, but given the amazing drama that pulls you right in, and that I truly did enjoy this story, I give this 4 stars.

The third of the Four Bears Construction series, and I really think this one out did the first two. I suggest reading the previous ones, they just sort of flow together timeline wise. Everett seemed to be the odd man out, he was straight while his three best friends are gay. What the guys don't know is that Everett is actually still trying to come to terms with the side of him that he never acknowledged, the reason that his marriage ended in divorce; the fact that he is gay. The one time that Ev works up the courage and goes inside of a different gay bar, he meets Watson. All of this is totally new for Ev, while Watson has no qualms about who he is. The two couldn't be more different or more perfect for each other. But Ev is reluctant to come out to his friends and family, will Watson understand Ev's need to keep them quiet for a while or will he become tired of being the dirty secret? 

I really enjoyed this story!! Watching Ev and Watson figure all their drama out was super entertaining. These stories have such a cute factor while at the same time moments that have you laughing out loud, and of course the steamy bits. I give this 5 stars.

She started her journey as an author in new adult, MF romance, but after a chance reading of an MM book she was completely hooked on everything about lovely- and sometimes damaged- men finding their Happily Ever After together.
