Release Blitz ***Blue Ridge Murder by Carolyn Laroche***
Release Blitz & REVIEW ***Hollow by Laramie Briscoe***
Dalton Barnett
A little PSA for you: this is part of a
series. This series rolls right into the next book, so there are things that
have happened in the previous book that lead up to what is going on in this
story. For this to make any impact at all and to not feel like you were dropped
in the middle of chaos, you should read the previous stories. In the last story
Mandy and Dalton lost their baby, and we started to see the breakdown of their
relationship. After Mandy tried to end everything, she is now getting the help that
she needs, while Dalton is now staying with Walker at the clubhouse, and
working on being a man of many hats. The two have a long road ahead, do they
have what it takes to come back together or is this truly the end of their
relationship?
What an emotional roller coaster ride this
story was! Watching Mandy and Dalton's relationship crumble the way it did was
hard, but we do get a reward in watching them both work to make themselves
whole again. I do believe this was the most emotional story in the series, it
deals more with the feelings and not so much with the MC side of things. I give
this 4 stars.
Since self-publishing her first book in May of 2013, Laramie Briscoe has published over 10 books. She's appeared on the Top 100 Bestselling E-books Lists on iBooks, Amazon Kindle, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble. She's been called "a very young Maya Banks" (Amazon reviewer) and her books have been accused of being "sexy, family-oriented, romances with heart".
When she's not writing alpha males who seriously love their women, she loves spending time with friends, reading, and marathoning shows on her DVR. Married to her high school sweetheart, Laramie lives in Bowling Green, KY with her husband (the Travel Coordinator) and a sometimes crazy cat named Beau.
