This is book two in the Russkaya Mafiya series. I would highly suggest that you read book one as there are returning characters, and a plot line, and you will just be plain confused if you don't.
London is Emily's best friend. We met London in book one and even then I had to admire London. She is a spitfire, who knows what she wants and isn't ashamed of that. Willing to give up her life in their small home town to make sure that Emily is ok, London sort of starts a new life, but what happens when the past comes back unexpectedly? Will London leave her new life for the old?
This had sort of a love triangle going on; London, Cain and Cameron. Who was she going to pick? I knew what direction I wanted her to go and I was freaking stoked when she chose.... haha not telling.
Sapphire Knight has a talent for pulling you in and twisting the story so that you end up saying WTF at some point or another. This was a good read and I give it a solid 4 stars.
