This is the second of the Spartan Riders series, so yes, you need to read Grit first... as there are returning characters and plot from book one that carries into book two.
First off the blurb is a bit misleading.... there is a whole lot more going on with Talia then the blurb says. At first I was thinking I read the wrong blurb.... I didn't, it's just not really a good description for her.
Anyways.... So we have Tuck/Country who is a bit of a manwhore, meeting Talia, who is up for a bit of a one night stand. But after one night... Tuck is thinking maybe for another night with her... after she flips the script on him that is.
This was a very good read for me. The sexy times were freaking off the charts! Dealing with the drama that carried on from book one, so it had the violence, add in some betrayal and this was fantastic. I give this 4.5 stars.
