Title: Castle of Kings
Series: A Kings MC Romance
Author: Betty Shreffler
Genre: MC Romance
When he walks into a room, he owns it. He consumes my very breath and melts my delicate little panties. From the moment he set eyes on me, he decided I was his. No one – not even my brother, Nix – was going to tell him otherwise. It doesn’t matter than Nix is President of the Kings MC Club. Jake wants what he wants, and he’ll set out to get it, whatever the cost.
Jake may be an arrogant asshole, but there’s no denying the hold he has over me. His fierce, carnal need to make me his, and his alone, is a snare I can’t escape. And truth be told, I don’t want to.
But when my life becomes threatened, Jake Castle is the only man my brother trusts to protect me. He knows Jake will do anything to keep me safe.
AC Book Squared - “There's the perfect amount of drama, action and romance in this book. It's everything I would want in an MC Book.”
Between The Hardcovers - “Yep, I'm a Betty Shreffler addict. While I don't normally read MC genre books, this one was freakin awesome!!!! Jake freaking Castle is the man of my dreams.”

Liz is back from college, having gotten her degree and is now back to start that part of life that happens after college. Her brother, Nix, has taken over the club and insists on her coming to a club party. His mission is to get her interested in one of the brothers, so long as its one that he agrees on and not Jake Castle. When Jake spots Liz, he just knows that she is going to be his, he just needs to convince her that she needs to give him the time of day, but when her brother reveals the real reason he doesn't like Jake, will he lose her anyways?
So this was an ok MC read, it wasn't horrible and it wasn't the best, just somewhere in the middle. I didn't really like Jake, and felt that Liz would have been better off with someone else, and truly have no clue how she fell in love with him? With drama, violence, and a lot of ok sexy times. I give this 3.5 stars.
Betty Shreffler is a self-proclaimed nerd and nature enthusiast obsessed with folklore, photography, writing, reading, movies, board games, hiking, gardening and spending time with her husband and five fur babies. Not necessarily in that exact order though. During her outdoor adventures she's been face to face with an alligator, a bear and a coyote, making for some of the most memorable experiences of her life. She loves to capture and share the world's beauty through the lens of her beloved Nikon camera. Her work experience has been diverse from working as a Ranger for the National Park Service to management positions in Fortune 500 companies. She’s lived in four different states and moved homes twelve times. She received a BA in organizational management and minor in sociology, although her heart has always belonged to writing and photography. Growing up, she read romance or supernatural novels and jotted down poems and short stories to express her emotions and alleviate the characters' voices in her head. Not much has changed, only now her stories are lengthier and her characters more interesting.
