The Baby Arrangement: A Friends to Lovers Romance Winston Brothers, #1
Authors: J.L. Beck & Stacey Lewis
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Synopsis
The arrangement is simple, with only two rules:
Rule #1: Don’t fall in love
Rule #2: Revert back to rule one when necessary
I thought I could stick to the rules, but with a girl like Fallon, I should've known rules were only meant to be broken. We’ve been best friends since elementary school, and she’s the only woman I want for more than a one night stand.
No matter how much I’m attracted to her, and I'm pretty f-ing attracted to her, I know she deserves better than a man who refuses to commit.
Then my father gives me an ultimatum:
Have a baby...or he’s selling the business my great-grandfather started over fifty years ago to a stranger.
Winston Industries is mine and I'm not about to let someone else take it from me.
Too many drinks has Fallon volunteering to help me with my problem and our agreement is born.
There’s just one little problem…
Everything changes the moment I slip inside her body.
To hell with the rules... I'm going to claim what's mine before it's too late.

Reed's father decides that in order for Reed to take over the company he will need to produce an heir. Of course everyone in the board room is shocked, but no one more shocked than Reed and Fallon. Fallon has been in love with her best friend for the longest time, but has never even dared to take it any further for fear of rejection and of losing him. Now she is going to have to sit and watch Reed create a life with someone else. When Fallon realizes that there is no way that she can just sit there, she offers herself as a solution. They will make a baby, and in making sure that nothing hurts their relationship, they create rules. But everyone knows rules are for breaking, although its hard to break a rule when you broke it before it was even made. How will the two navigate the waters of baby making while at the same time each fighting themselves for not taking more?
This was a cute book, there were some points where I was getting a bit frustrated with the characters. With some really steamy sexy times, drama, drama and more drama; this was an entertaining read. I give this 4 stars.
About the Authors
J.L. Beck is a hopeless romantic with a dirty mind. She plays mother and wife by day and lets all her dirty fantasies come out at night. Her heart belongs to alpha males who love to take charge, and sassy heroines that give said alphas a run for their money. She's addicted to coffee, is constantly swearing, and has a rather expensive obsession with makeup. If she's not writing then you can probably find her chilling in her sweatpants, and a t-shirt watching crappy reality tv.
Stacey is the New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author of the Nashville Secrets series and the Nashville U series. She’s also the single mom of three amazingly crazy boys and since she’s a transplanted Yankee, considers herself a big city girl living in a small town. Because she can’t live in the cities she loves – Nashville, New York, Chicago – she writes about people who do instead. When she isn’t writing, you can usually find her curled up with a sexy book, or more accurately, scrolling through Tumblr. She also isn’t afraid to admit her favorite addictions: Tumblr GIF’s, social media, Spotify, Dr. Pepper, and of course, dirty books. Hunky heroes with control issues and strong heroines who stand up to them are her weakness. She loves to talk books – not just her own – with anyone, so send her a message!
