A single father
struggles to change for his daughters and the woman he loves in this second
book in the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club series from New York Times
bestselling author Chantal Fernando.
As a single father
of two girls and the sergeant at arms for the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club,
Jack “Knuckles” Chester doesn’t have much free time. And having earned his road
name from his reputation as a fighter, Knuckles isn’t one to back away from a
challenge.
But what he'll
never admit out loud is that his two daughters have changed him irrevocably,
softened him even. And these two girls are the only women who will ever hold
his heart forever. That is, until he meets the cousin of another biker’s old
lady.
Celina is nothing
like the women Knuckles used to date. She’s a journalist for the local
newspaper, dresses well, and basically just has her life together. And the last
thing she wants is to be involved with a Cursed Raven. But when the ripped,
badass biker worms his way into her heart, she has trouble remembering all the
reasons they would never work.
But when a scandal
at her newspaper breaks the thin trust she has with Knuckles, will she walk
away for good? Or will Knuckles fight to keep Celina in his life?

This is book two in the Cursed Ravens MC series, and I do suggest reading book one Ace of Hearts. It just makes more sense to, everyone is introduced, and you start to get a feel for the cast of characters that the author has created. Knuckles was one of my favs, and I am very glad that he got his book next. With two daughters that he co-parents seemingly well, he is also Erin's best friend. When Celina, Erin's cousin, is invited to a party at the clubhouse, she has no clue what to expect. What she walked into was definitely not it. Something that was more like a home than what you would see on TV wasn't what Celina thought she would get, but she has to admit, she does like it. When Knuckles makes a point of introducing himself to Celina, he has no intention of letting her get away. For Celina, her trust in men is lacking, and Knuckles is not what she would have envisioned herself hooking up with, but there is something about the way he woos her. Will Knuckles be able to get Celina to trust him? What about when it comes to light that Knuckles himself has trust issues, will Celina be able to prove that she is worth trusting?
I really liked this story. While it was more personal drama than MC drama, this was still very entertaining. With some hot sexy times, some OMG moments, and a bit of wanting to throat punch someone, this gets 5 stars.

Celina doesn't usually let anyone in, and Knuckles has his two daughters to think about, but after a little "wooing" I guess you could call it by Knuckles, Celina decides to give it a go with him, he is after all chivalrous, funny, kind, and an oh so HOT alpha biker badass. At the first hurdle though, things don't go smoothly; will the pair be over before they even really begin?
Although not quite as dramatic as book one (Erin and Ace), Celina and Knuckles' story still has some drama, sexy times and a tiny bit of action. A bit of a surprise thrown in at the end too. Another good read from Chantal Fernando, and I'm looking forward to reading Rogue's story next. Knuckle Down gets 4 stars from me.
