Release Blitz & REVIEW ***Slow Burn by Danielle Norman***

This fire has finally ignited.
Slow Burn by Danielle Norman is LIVE!!!

BLURB

Paris changed me. Not the city. The girl. The woman. The center of my world. From the first time we held hands on the school bus, to our first kiss, we carefully moved toward one thing. The day that I'd ask her to be mine.

How was I to know that she thought friends couldn't be lovers? I'll prove her wrong. When her world turns upside down, I'll be there. When she's feeling lost, I'll be there. After all, a spark can smolder for years before it begins to burn.

REVIEW

Review by: Melanie
(4 stars)

I will say that Stetson should be read before this, it's book one of the Iron Horse series, and we get introduced to everyone and Slow Burn picks up after Stetson but with Paris and Asher. We found out in book one about the girls' parents and how their mother left, and that the girls' have taken over the ranch and kept things going. Paris' roll in all this was mainly in the house, cooking, cleaning and what not, all the stuff that her mother would have done, the stuff that she promised her mother she would take care of when she left them. Asher and Paris have been best friends since they were kids, and Asher knew that Paris was meant to be his, he just had to wait until Paris was ready to admit it. When Asher finally opens up about his feelings, only to be rejected, will the two be able to continue their friendship as it was? Or is it too late now that everything is out in the open? Just when Asher thinks that they can get on track, a ghost from the girls' past comes to stir everything and everyone up, confusing Paris all the more.

This was just an OK read for me, after all the stuff that happened in London and Braden's story, I guess this was kind of the cool down, or maybe build up for the next book. There was some drama with Cora, and also the whole Paris and her feelings. I was a bit irked with Paris and how naïve she was acting, but I chalked that up to her just being sheltered. I am ready for Holland's book, I give this 4 stars.

About Danielle

Before becoming a romance writer, Danielle was a body double for Heidi Klum and a backup singer for Adele. Now, she spends her days trying to play keep away from Theo James, who won't stop calling her or asking her out. And all of this happens before she wakes up and faces reality where in fact she is a 50-something mom with grown kids. She's been married longer than Theo's been alive, and she now gets her kicks riding a Harley. As far as her body, she can thank Ben & Jerry's for that, as well as gravity and vodka. But she says that she could never be Adele's backup since she never stops saying the F-word long enough to actually sing. Danielle writes about kickass women with even better shoes and the men that try to tame them (silly, silly men).
