Book Two of the Iron Badges series, and its just getting better! Bridget has been in love with Eli since her brother brought him home, the only issue... he's her brother's best friend and treats her like a little sister. As a new deputy Bridget feels she has a lot to live up to as she is a McGuire and comes from blue blood. Eli has had feelings for Bridget since he first met her, but she is his best friend's little sister and that's a line he didn't want to cross but its been years and all he sees is still Bridget. Now that she has her career started, he has decided that he is gonna start to pursue something more with Bridget. When she gets herself into a situation involving a case that he is working, he warns her off. But there is something about this case that Bridget just can't stop looking into. Will Eli be able to keep her safe, or is Bridget more than capable of taking care of herself?
So this was a super action packed story and it flowed beautifully! My only complaint was this was bit more tame and I wanted a bit more naughty bits. Loads of drama, danger, violence, and some funny bits, I give this 4.5 stars.
