Release Blast & REVIEWS ***Maybe Swearing Will Help by Lani Lynn Vale***

Release Date: March 10

Ford Spurlock has known Ashe Trammel since they were babies.

He’s also done his level best to stay away from her because every time he gets to within five feet of her, they’re fighting like cats and dogs.

Ashe is the apple of her father’s eye. The motorcycle club princess that was never to be harmed in any way—or touched for that matter. And he’s always resented the fact that she could get away with things that he couldn’t. Things that she then blames on him and he always gets punished for.

Fast forward to adulthood, and Ashe is still off limits. Still driving him insane. Still…beautiful.

She never misses an opportunity to give him hell, either.

That has to be why he agrees to do a photoshoot for KPD SWAT that’ll benefit her charity even when he’d rather shoot himself in the foot with his duty weapon.
***
Ashe never thought he’d agree.

Honestly, she thought she’d ask him, he’d say no, and that’d be the end of it.

She never realized that she’d leave his photo up in her cubicle, and it’d be the last thing that she saw every night as she locked her office door.

When they were kids, Ford used to be that boy that threw dirt at her and pulled her hair.

Now, he’s the same Ford Spurlock, only a whole lot sexier. And a lot harder to say no to.

When he challenges her to one date, she has no other recourse but to agree.

What she didn’t agree to was falling in love with Mr. March. Or wanting to give him everything she had to give.

Yes! I have wanted to read about Ford and Ashe getting together ever since we read about their shenanigans as little kids in their parents' books. Now adults, the two still can't stop riling each other up and constantly bicker. However, there is something more than hatred there. Yes they've always had each other's backs despite their warring, but now there is more to it... could it actually be love?

I loved this. I mean I always do love LLV books but to have "seen" both parts of this pairing as children and now as adults finding their HEA makes it a bit more special. I can't wait for the next one and give it 5 stars.

I'm just going to say it straight: read the previous books and I mean ALL, start at Boomtown and work your way down, that will make this second gen series even better. First we watched their parents, Ashe's Torren and Tru and Ford's Trance and Viddy, fall in love and get their HEA's, now we get to see their children and what a story this was. Mortal enemies since childhood, Ashe and Ford are also the best of friends. The two always in trouble in some form or fashion, normally a dare gone wrong. The newest bet is whether Ashe can make in on the SWAT team or not; if she loses then she has to go on a date with Ford and if she wins then Ford has to take part in a calender and donate to a cat charity. When the two share a moment, a moment that had them acting out the need felt, the need they both had been denying, Ford claims it was a one time thing, and Ashe doesn't know what to think. Can the two only keep it to one and done? Will they wake up and see just what everyone else already sees?

This was such a cute story! Ashe and Ford's antics had me laughing like a loon. I love how real LLV makes her stories, so relatable; and adding funny moments like the school line scene, cuz we all know that crap is for the birds. Lani Lynn Vale can transport you to this world that she created and have you never wanting to come back to the real one. I give this 5 stars.
