This was my first read from Bink Cummings, but it will definitely not be my last. I'll be honest, it took me a little while to get used to her way of writing, and reading a Scottish accent (surprising seeing as I hear it a lot being British, lol) but once I did, I really enjoyed this book.

Lachlan is a big, strong, Scottish biker, with a heart of gold. After rescuing Magdalene, or Mags as he calls her, Lachlan feels responsible for her and once she is released from the hospital, he and his daughter Bridget take her home with them to recover.

That's the only bit of plot I'm giving away for fear of spoilers. But I will say that this story will have you laughing, crying, gasping and just basically turning page after page until you finish. I thought the characters were great, the writing was good (once I got used to it) and I really enjoyed it. 4.5 stars from me.

 

Author Bink Cummings was born and raised part of an MC family. Upon the incessant coercion from her sacred sisters, she has begun her newest journey in life--writing. When she's not shacked up in her home, writing at all hours of the night, Bink enjoys riding motorcycles, taking care of her extensive roughneck family, and cooking huge meals. Especially her infamous chocolate chip cookies.
