Title: Torch
Author: LeAnn Ashers
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: December 8
One moment, one ordinary day changed my life and led me to my forever.
Three guys tried to kidnap me.
One man saved me.
I was beyond scared. Being blind, I was already terrified of my every move, the unknown frightening.
His name is Torch. Once he decided I was his, he didn't let me go. Torch became everything to me: my protector, my safe haven, my husband, lover, and most of all, the father to my babies. He made me see that I didn't have to be afraid of my every step, because he would always be there to catch me before I fell.
Torch is the Vice President of the Devils Souls MC. The men are violent and scary, but I learned to trust them, because above everything else, their women are protected. They became my family. My only family.

(3.5 stars)
Kayla is blind and she meets Torch when he stops some gang members from kidnapping her one day. He recognises them as traffickers and straight away takes responsibility for her by effectively kidnapping her himself and taking her to his house. From there we get to see the couple fall in love, super quick, and start a life together. All the while Torch and his MC start to search for a way to take the traffickers down, once and for all.
Now, I’m torn on what I want to say about this book. On the one hand, the story has some great potential, I mean sometimes instalove is totally fine, and Torch and Kayla had some good chemistry. The side characters were great and I think their stories will be interesting. But I think, on the whole, Torch was just not quite written how I like my stories. I felt it was all a little matter of fact... I did this, then he did that, then this happened, then I did this etc etc. Maybe not quite as literally as that but you get the idea.
Also, so many things happened during this story that some of them seemed a bit unnecessary to the story and for me actually detracted from the enjoyment as it made it seem a bit cheesy in a way how far-fetched some of it was.
I still enjoyed it though, I can see LeAnn Ashers has some good stories in her head, but I think a little restraint on just how many of those ideas she puts into each book and maybe putting it all together a little more smoothly would make a huge difference. I give Torch 3.5 stars.
