Text 2 Lovers was Dani and Ram’s story. Now in Hate 2 Lovers, we get the story of Ram’s brother, Roman, and Dani’s best friend, Andie. Of course we saw a few titbits of their interactions throughout book one but we get the full story now.
Andie has major trust issues after being abandoned by her father when she was younger, after her mom got ill. Now with the discovery that she is expecting Roman’s baby, she’s freaking out. She doesn’t know how to be a mom, and she doesn’t trust Roman not to leave like her own daddy did.
Roman is absolutely enamoured with his future sister-in-law’s best friend. Andie says she’s hates him, but he sees through that and even though they seem to either only be fighting or um, another thing that begins with f-ing, he wants her and their baby to be a family.
These two are awesome. She pushes and pushes and pushes him some more, but Roman won’t give in. I love it! Not many men would deal with the emotional stuff she throws at him, but I guess that shows just how much he has fallen for her. I really enjoyed this story, and there was a scene near the end that had me laughing so loud it brought tears to my eyes.
I can’t wait for the next instalment and give Hate 2 Lovers 5 stars.
