Oh this third instalment in the Modern Love series is definitely my favourite. Lennon is the free spirit of the three girls. She loves sex and isn’t ashamed to talk about it. She can’t be really seeing as she’s trying to get an investor for her sex toy business.
Cue Jasper.
Jasper is an investor, but Lennon’s banker brother, Jacob, who just happens to know him, won’t introduce them. Lennon devises a plan to “meet” Jasper by herself, but once she gets talking to him, she can’t do it. She doesn’t want his money anymore, she wants him instead. But will he want her if he ever finds out just why she was in the bar that night?
I really enjoyed this book. Lennon’s quirkiness and Jasper’s automatic acceptance of everything about her was nice to read. I think whoever Piper and Rayne are they make a good writing team, and I’d certainly read more from them. I give the Banker 5 stars.
