They always say that two wrongs don’t make a right... Well, she was wrong for breaking into a house that didn’t belong to her; even if she and her daughter had nowhere else to go. And, I was wrong for watching her on the surveillance camera as she moved through the house and climbed into bed. So I offered her a job and a home. Her smile… Her curves… Wrong has never felt so right. Now, I want to make the biggest impact yet… I want to make her mine. Impact is volume 3 in the Iron Orchids Series but may be read and enjoyed as a standalone contemporary romance.

(3.5 Stars)

This is the third book in the Iron Orchids series, and just to make the read that much less confusing, I would suggest reading books one and two. There are a lot of characters, and even having read books one and two, I was still a bit lost at trying to figure out who was who at some points.

When Damon figures out that there is someone squatting in one of his houses, he becomes instantly interested in figuring out who it is, especially when there is evidence that there is a child involved.  After he finds out just who it is, he decides to make sure that he leaves a number and offers a job, that's the least he can do, after all he was "spying" on Katy and her daughter for a bit. When Katy gets offered a job that could and will change everything for her and her daughter, Bee, she of course jumps at the chance. Having had a rough go of it since her life turned upside down, Katy is working and doing the best she can to provide for Bee, but when Damon starts to show that he is interested in more than just a professional relationship, can Katy take the chance?

So once again, I love the family dynamic that the Christakos family has, and the fact that they are willing to just include Katy and Bee without even blinking an eye, LOVE that. The characters are a hoot at times, and so far haven't found one that I didn't like. There was some drama, some funny bits, and some really cute kids. Now, the sexy times were just ok, there was a lot that seemed to happen "behind the scenes" which meant as the reader some things were missing. The whole "bad guy" scene was mundane. I really like the story line, it just felt like there was something off. I give this 3.5 stars.

About Danielle
Danielle is a Harley riding romance writer. Most days she can be found in jeans, t-shirts, and pearls (she's a lady like that). Danielle writes about men that will open the door for you during the day and throw you against them at night. She loves stories that will make you laugh and fall in love without all of the emotional baggage faced every day in our real lives. And her talent is the ability to tell the difference between a rye, wheat, corn, or potato vodka in just 1 sip, but she prefers a few glasses just to be certain.
