Her wild hair, boho style and silvery grey eyes suddenly hold a lot of promise. But when his office is pulled into an international investigation into the trafficking of rare books and manuscripts, the straight-laced SAC realizes he has to keep his distance from the woman who might well be involved. 

Easier said than done, since fate seems determined to throw them together.

When Agent Damian Gomez steps into the little book store, he never expected to see Kerry Emerson. Having last seen her a few years ago, Kerry left a lasting impression on Damian, but knowing what she had just went through, added to that she had a husband, he left when he was done with his part of that case and never looked back. Now a few years later, Kerry is looking hot and even better, she is single. Too bad for Damian, as he is working and doesn't really have time for anything. But when Kerry unknowingly becomes involved in the case that Damian is working, he will stop at nothing to keep her safe. As the two navigate through the danger, the feelings that they both have come to the forefront and make Damian's job just that little bit harder. Can he keep her safe with all the directions he is being pulled? Will Damian blow this shot with Kerry?

So this was a good and entertaining read. With the danger, suspense, and some yummy romance this has all the makings of a good read. I give this 4 stars.
