Mallory Pierce has been hiding from life after losing her husband and son to a drunk driving accident more than a year ago. Friends tried to help Mallory get back into the swing of things; but it isn’t until she meets Riot MC biker, Cal Robertson, that Mallory begins to live again. The chemistry between Mallory and Cal is explosive from the beginning, and when Cal offers her a ride on his motorcycle, Mallory cannot refuse.
Cal is fascinated by the spunky brunette, who seems to know how to push all his buttons. Things go awry when a situation requires him to bring her to his club. Despite their rocky start, the pair cannot stay away from one another. His protective instincts kick into overdrive when a member of a rival motorcycle club shows a dangerous interest in Mallory. Cal can no longer deny his feelings for her, and the more he finds out about her, the more he wants Mallory in his life.
Permanently.
Cary “Vamp” Sullivan earned his Riot MC patch and shoved Lorraine Francis Ingram out of his life six years ago by cheating on her. He’s regretted it ever since because he knew she was a top-notch woman. After mentioning his regrets to his brother, Cal, Vamp suddenly finds himself faced with an opportunity to win Lorraine back. When he runs into her unexpectedly and finds out she has been beaten at the hands of a man, Vamp and his Riot MC Brothers are determined to protect her. Vamp is determined to get her back in his life, and he knows it’s going to be an uphill battle.

Lorraine insists that if any Riot MC Brother is going to protect her, it cannot be Vamp. She gets no promises from the Riot MC, and she finds herself with Vamp at her doorstep. She’s determined there will be no second chances, but her resolve is weakened because Vamp isn’t playing fair, he’s fighting…fighting to win her over.

Once she and Vamp are reunited again, they realize there is a very real threat to them both. Lorraine and Vamp are put to the test to rekindle their long lost love and stay alive.

Tennille “Neil” Lyons has her hands full with Cecilia, her drug addicted sister who recently turned to prostitution to maintain her addiction. Having her sister commit to going to rehab feels like a stroke of luck, until the dealer/handler shows up making threats. While drowning her worries at a hole-in-the-wall bar, she meets a handsome biker. As much as she wants to dismiss him, she finds out he is rougher and tougher than any other man Neil has met before. Which may come in handy, because if Cecilia doesn’t pay her substantial debt, the dealer intends to collect from Neil instead.
Augustus “Razor” Richardson is prospecting with the Riot MC after being renounced from his old MC. He has a past and a reputation as a ladies’ man, but rarely does a woman so blithely give him the brush-off. He knows something is wrong, but she slips away before he can figure out how to help. When an unexpected phone call puts her back in touch, Razor will stop at nothing to protect Neil from harm. However, Razor’s past isn’t done with him yet. Can he prove to Neil that she can trust him before it’s too late?

Unforseen Riot

 (4 Stars)

When widowed Mallory tries to get out of a trivia night, a new voice in the background proceeds to goad her into coming out. When Mallory arrives with all intent to tear into someone, she realizes quickly that Cal isn't someone she really wants to be around, well she does but the guilt she feels makes her feel like she shouldn't. After a surprise ride on the back of his bike, Mallory just knows she needs to get away. But Cal will not let her distance herself, and starts to push his way into her life. Just when Cal starts to push, is when things in Mallory's life start to get crazy. Can Cal keep Mallory safe from the trouble that she has somehow gotten in the middle of?

OK, soooo.... I am actually struggling on what to write. This was an ok read... I can even go as far as a good read. I didn't like Cal at all, where he was supposed to be coming off as alpha, it made him come off more as a butthead leaning towards abusive controlling d-bag. I get that there was time, almost two years, between losing her child and husband, but a child is not an easy loss, and you would think that she would have actually talked about him, instead it was more about the loss of her husband and the guilt of moving on, which yes is natural but a child... IDK, I'm ranting now so I'll drop it. The good about this story, is that I wanted to keep reading to see how it all panned out. It wasn't tedious to read, rather enjoyable, but the characters and some questionable MC practices were a bit off to me, but of course not all MC's behave the same way. I did want more details for some bits, but then at other times there was way too much detail; I don't care what brand they wore, but for the first sexy time I had to go back and read cuz I didn't think Cal came... he just grunted, so I'm assuming he did. Despite all my mad ranting and raving I gave this 4 stars, I think the author has promise so I will keep up with her to see how she does.

Inciting a Riot

(4 Stars)

Book two of the Riot MC series, and I do suggest reading book one, the whole returning characters, and situations from the previous book are brought up and pretty much still being dealt with in this book. So in book one, we watched Vamp as he started out a bit of a manwhore, and by the end he just wanted the one special person that was meant to be his. Frankie does not have good taste in men, all the ones that she has dated in the past have turned out to be cheaters, when she runs into the one that really broke her heart, Vamp, all the feelings well back up to the surface. Vamp realizes that this is his second chance with Frankie, he just needs to convince her that he has changed and that he will never hurt her again... if only he can get Frankie to forgive him. When danger strikes and Frankie is right in the middle of it, Vamp does everything he can to keep her safe, while at the same time showing that he is the man for her, but can Frankie forgive?

I enjoyed this a lot more than I did book one, drama, danger, ok naughty bits. This author likes a lot of detail, and while thats not a bad thing and can really set the scene, I felt at times there was too much detail. I give this 4 stars.

Into the Riot

(4 Stars)

Keep in mind this is book three of the series, and as such the previous books should be read first for the best reading experience. We "met" Razor in book one during Mallory and Cal's drama, Razor then belonged to another club, but having saved Mallory's life and a few other things that he had done for the Riot MC, when he was kicked out of his old MC, Riot was right there to pick him up and bring him in as a prospect. Razor met Neil at a bar and hit on her, but she of course turns him down as he is too pretty for her.

Tennille, Neil, is just sitting at the bar minding her own business when a pretty boy comes and hits on her, then plants a lip lock that definitely had her attention, but knowing what she does about pretty boys she turns him down and goes her own way. When a friend from high school, Trixie, comes to the car lot that Neil works at, Trixie talks Neil into coming to the party that they are having. She never thought when she got there that she would run into the pretty boy from the bar. Razor seeing his second chance, he makes sure not to waste it. When the trouble that is following Neil makes itself known, Razor and the MC are right there to help her, even though she doesn't want it. Will Neil relent and let the MC help her out with the problem her sister got her into?

Have you ever read a book that you enjoyed, but it just got to the point that you were done with it and ready for it to end? That's how I felt with this book, while I did enjoy it, I was so ready for it to be finished. There was so much going on, and the author gives a lot a detail about stuff, and I mean a lot. While once again that's not a bad thing, there is a line how much detail is needed before some of the details get boring. I will say, the naughty times were way better in this book than the previous ones. This has plenty of drama, MC and personal, some action, a bit of violence, all the stuff that makes up a good MC read. I can not wait for Trixie's story, hopefully she will get one. I give this 4 stars.

Karen Renee is the author of the Riot MC Series. She has wanted to be a writer from a very early age, and she’s finally bringing that dream to life. She has worked in advertising, banking, and local television media research. She is a proud wife and mother, and a Jacksonville native. When she’s not at the soccer field or cooking, you can find her at her local library, the grocery store, in her car jamming out to some tunes, or hibernating while she writes and/or reads books.
