That’s all I really want, but nothing ever goes the way I want.
Bodies are piling up, Petra is too scared to talk, and the club is scrambling to figure out just what is going on.
When I signed on with the Kings of Vengeance I figured I’d get my time with my knees in the breeze, but someone has other plans for the Kings.
Soon they’ll find out why we’re called the Kings of Vengeance.
Vengeance will be ours.

First off... let me start by saying, this is NOT a standalone! Yes, these are different couples but they build off of each other... you know.. like a series do. To really get the feels and understanding of what is going on, its best to read this after the first two stories. Now, Petra and Rhino's story starts where Lean Into It ended, so this starts right out the gate with action and drama happening. The club has certainly had it's issues, and the hits just seem to keep coming. As is the natural way of things, when people are thrown together, things happen, and so sparks flew with Rhino and Petra, but are these sparks only because they were thrown together and they are just feeding off of the adrenaline? Or are these sparks something more?
Action, drama, funny bits, spicy moments, and a wee bit of violence; these are all the things you are guaranteed to get with a Winter Travers story. The difference between Winter Travers and other authors, is just how she puts all of these elements in her stories and makes them work. Pure entertainment! This gift had me gobbling up this story, inhaling it like the fat kid in me eats cake. I will say the tease in the very end, now has me hungry for more. Great job!! I give this 5 stars.

This picks up right where the last book ended.. a dead cat. A cat that died in a far from natural way and leaves the club with the knowledge that someone is threatening them. Who is it, what are they threatening, is it against the club itself or against Petra, the cats owner? So many questions that need answers and Rhino is assigned to look out for Petra until they get those answers. Being in such close proximity changes their relationship from one of disinterest to a definite interest and all the while the enemy is getting closer. Will the pair get a chance to see where things can go or will the enemy tear everything apart before they get the chance?
I'll have to admit that while I enjoyed this, it did take a little while to really get going for me and I would have liked a little more to the ending. It did do the trick though and now i'm wanting the next book so that I can find out what happens. I give Knees in the Breeze 4 stars.
