Misadventures is a romantic series of spicy standalone novels, each written or co-written by some of the best names in romance. The stories are scandalous, refreshing, and, of course, incredibly sexy. They’re the perfect bedside read, a ‘quick blush’ for the reader who loves a page-turning romance.

Devin is fresh out of prison and needs to get a job as part of the parole process. After not having much luck, he follows up on a friends recommendation and ends up landing a job as a receptionist for a real estate firm. For Devin it's just a job to make sure that he doesn't go back to jail, but it ends up being one of the best decisions he has ever made.
Teddi has been burned before, badly; now she doesn't have a lot of trust in men. With Devin around Teddi is a bit on the defensive side, she wants him but is not about to go down that path. What happens when she finds out that they have something in common? Will she give Devin the chance that he deserves?
This was a really good read, welcome back to the game Scott Hildreth! This is a bit… tamer than what we normally get from him, but these are supposed to be more on the blush style anyways. Teddi and Devin's story was a build up that takes you along for the ride, and what a ride we get; a bit of drama, some violence, a cast of characters that have us giggling (I need a Herb in my life), and some very nicely done naughty bits. I give this 4 stars.
