Seeing Evan again is taking a toll on me, I can’t sleep and my mind is in a constant state of turmoil. I wake up in the middle of the night from dreams of us. The memories of him, of us are too much. Some memories have the ability to heal. The ability to light up the dark because the beauty of the memory is so bright you’re still able to bask in it.
But the memories of us are killing me slowly. They remind me that for one moment I had everything while reminding me it’s gone. It’s the realization that we’re done that’s killing me. The realization that I can see him but can’t touch him that he exist but he’s not mine is agonizing.

YES!!!! This was amazing! There are no other words for what Aurora Rose Reynolds can do but pure genius! First off, yes, please read the previous stories. That includes the four original Mayson stories! As there are returning characters, plot mentions, and all that jazz.
June Mayson has moved back to her hometown, but she returns.... heartbroken, but determined to move on and forget the past. Until she realizes just who is working with her cousin. Her ex-husband, the one nobody knows about.
Evan let the one thing that really mattered go; not wanting to taint her with his past, but Evan realizes that his life is nothing without June and nothing is going to stop him from getting her back; even June herself.
This has everything you have come to expect in an Aurora Rose Reynolds story, funny as heck, sexy times that are off the charts, and an alpha male that you just want to... sink your teeth into (lick, claim him as yours, same thing). This is 5 stars all the way.
