EXCERPT
Tony glanced around the restaurant, looking at the people seated around them, couples or groups like them. Everyone seemed to be laughing and having a great time. As Tony glanced around the restaurant again, he spotted someone he hadn't seen when he'd first looked. Will. And he wasn't alone.
It was obvious Will was on a date. Tony could tell by the way Will was smiling and touching the other man's hand. Tony's breath caught as his stomach tightened, and he swallowed hard as heat flooded his body. He stared at them, his eyes widening and his lips parting as he struggled to breathe.
"Are you alright, Tony?" Lisa asked. "What? Yeah, yeah," he told her as he faced her. "I'm fine thanks. Saw someone I thought I knew but I was mistaken." He attempted to smile but didn't think he pulled it off by the expression on
Lisa's face. But, she didn't comment further and eventually turned away and entered the conversation with everyone else.
Tony glanced back at Will and stopped breathing when their eyes met. He watched Will's eyes widen as his eyebrows arched up in surprise, and he leaned back in his chair appearing to ignore the man sitting with him. Tony looked away and tried to focus on the conversation occurring at the table.
What the fuck was Will doing here? And with another man. Tony rubbed his forehead and closed his eyes, feeling his stomach twist and turn. He wanted to be sick. He wanted to be anywhere but in the restaurant knowing Will was with someone else.

This started where book one Awakening pretty much left off ... 3 weeks later and Tony still avoiding Will. (Just in case you didn't realize you must read book one first) Tony still can't get over that he is attracted to Will, or that they had sexy time. Tony needs time, unfortunately he isn't good at communication so he doesn't let Will know that he wants to be with him. When Tony spots Will at dinner on a date, he loses it and has to leave. Both Tony and Will have to figure out if this is what they want or to just let this go. But what happens when a ghost from Tony's past comes back, will they be able to work through this?
I did like this, when the added element of James/Matt was introduced it explained a lot of things. I did feel that there were a couple of times where the connection between Tony and Will was missing. But with some really hot sexy time scenes and some drama, this was very entertaining. I am looking forward to Zeke's story. I give this 4 stars.
