(4.5 Stars)

I was expecting Crossover to be a co-written novella, but it was actually a novella from each series and the guys just happen to meet each other. Set before either of the Devil’s Due or Vipers Creed series’ begin, this is a nice little novella introducing us to each club.
The first one was from the Devil’s Due MC and the nomads were heading for Dyersburg, Tennessee. Ten chapters gave us snippets from each member as they travelled to and were in Dyersburg, each having their own little adventure of sorts (and omg these boys certainly find themselves in some interesting situations, lol) but their ultimate goal was searching for someone from X’s past. I really want to know what’s going on there! However, on their arrival they quickly find out that Dyersburg is Vipers Creed territory and they have to come to some arrangement about their visit. That’s all I’m saying because anything else is just a huge spoiler.

The Vipers Creed story is set at the time that big changes were being made; Spook gets the presidency for one. Again it shows little bits of a few of the brothers; Stiff’s was particularly good to me as having already read his story, I liked seeing what his life was like just as he was about to be patched in. A handful of very good chapters, finishing with them going to see who these Devil’s are that have just shown up in the local diner.

I enjoyed Crossover, it was nice to see how these two MC’s met and to get a glimpse of them in their early days. The only downside to this book is that considering it is a novella, it was short anyway, but then it ended at 80%! Now after it ended it showed the first chapters of each series, but as I have already read them it was surplus for me. If I hadn’t already read them then it would have been a great way to introduce the series’ even more so I’m a little torn on my feelings on this, lol.

Either way, what I did read I enjoyed and so I give Crossover 4.5 stars.
