Mia has shut herself off from the world, has been this way for five years. So when she notices that the new neighbor is a bit more... lively than the last ones, she is obviously a bit unsure on if this is a good thing or bad. Jared has found this little space of solitude and quiet, a place where he can hopefully keep a low profile now that his retirement from pro-hockey has been announced. The two stay out of each others way for the most part, until Mia happens to come around at the perfect time, just when Jared needs help. From that moment on, their lives seem to intertwine with Jared noticing that things are not what they seem when it comes to Mia, and Mia trying to come to grips with just how different her life is getting, and debating should she let Jared in further than he already is. Will Mia be able to cope with this new reality or will it become to much for her to handle?

Ok, there is so much more than I can share! I loved everything about this, I loved the fact that we, as the readers, can actually understand just how Mia's life came to be the way it is! I loved how Jared dealt with the whole situation! With side characters that were a freaking hoot, some drama, steamy sexy times, this is a 5 star read!  I have no clue who is next up in this series, but I am so ready for more!
