Fear—it’s swallowing me whole.
The worry is always there of people finding out my secret.
But she knew. The second we were alone…. she figured me out.
My life has been one catastrophe after another, people
judging without knowing me.
I’m rude, obnoxious, stubborn, but that’s all to hide the
pain of my demons.
The pain of my childhood.
No one knows why I’m the way I am. Except for my twin, but
even he doesn’t know the extent of my despair.
No one knew until Zaria Shafir came into our lives.
Oscar-winning A-lister and actress extraordinaire.
She saw right through me—through the bravado, through the
act—she saw me.
The thing is… she’s just as good at acting as I am. The diva
attitude she throws around demanding everything like she owns the world.
I see through her, too.
We both have demons in our past.
Will they keep us from having a future?

This is book three in the series, and I would definitely say these are not standalones. They all sort of just blend into one another, and with the returning characters and plot themes, it would just make all the more sense to just read them all in a row.
So we finally get Nate's story, and we get the reason he is a bit of a butthead, and the reason is really sad and a bit heart breaking, and as the reader you can understand and sympathize. The idea that Nate had about the music video is off and running and Zaria is the big star that was pulled in to play the part of Danger's lover girl. Right away Zaria spots the differences in the twins and that has Nate looking at her in a different light, not the diva that she is trying to get people to see. Zaria and Nate start to spend more time together but she has a habit of pushing people away and continues to do this with Nate. Will Nate push her back or just accept her pushing him away and take that rejection again?
As things get bigger for the band, they are forced to go on tour for two months together, where seeing Zaria and Danger flirt and play off each other has both Nate and Lunar going out of their minds. When things come to head and Zaria has pushed for the last time, will Nate just let her go and wallow in self pity?; yes, yes, he does. Will he try and get her back is the question.
So this was an ok read, I did find myself really tired of Zaria/Ria about halfway through. She kept getting on my nerves! With some crazy antics, drama, and some sexy times I give this 4 stars.
