ever said no to Ash Harris—until Constance Shaw. But when the grudge he holds
against her finally comes to a head, Constance must run to save her life …
… right
into the arms of Corey Campbell.
The only
other occupant of the mountain, Corey’s perfectly happy with the life he leads.
Sure, it’s a little lonely, but he does what he wants when he wants.
When
Constance shows up on his doorstep, the gentle giant with the big heart finds
it hard to say no to her.
Turns out
she’s exactly what he needs.

(4 Stars)
Hunter’s Mark is book 4 in the series, and the fourth brother
is Corey; the mountain man of the family. Living a solitary life up the
mountain, spending his time alone or out hunting pests for customers, Corey
always thought he’d end up growing old alone. That all changed though when
Constance made her escape from the “community” next door. When Ash Harris; the leader
who came after Corey’s sister-in-law, Hayley, back in Book 2 decided to make
Constance marry an old, vicious, evil man, she and her family decide she has to
run and get away from Ash and his sinister ways. When she finds her way to
Corey, he immediately offers her refuge and protection and eventually things
start to develop between the two. I don’t really want to say anything else as it
might spoil it.
I’m enjoying this series and I like how the author shows us
what some of the previous couples are up to. This book lets us see Lily and Adam’s
wedding and Owen and Ginny’s fertility issues. Just one brother left now, James,
and I have a feeling I know what he is being so secretive about with who he has
met. I’m looking forward to that one, but for now I give Hunter’s Mark 4 stars.

Author Bio
Wendy Smith published as Ariadne Wayne for 3 years before deciding she didn’t want to be someone else all the time. Heavily influenced by stories in the media, she decided to try something new, and the Copper Creek series was born. With lots of love and a touch of darkness, her stories will twist their way into your heart.
