We got to see some of Nightmare and Bethany in the previous book, Princess. It’s now 3 years later and after being away all that time, Bethany returns to town for Princess and Viking’s wedding.  She isn’t alone though, she has her son Maverick with her… Nightmare’s son. A son, it quickly becomes apparent, he knows nothing about. Of course, Nightmare doesn’t take the discovery well and neither does Princess; after believing that Nightmare wanted nothing to do with them all this time, she hasn’t hidden the fact that he isn’t her favourite person.

This is truly a second chance for the pair, who are so obviously still attracted to each other, and now they will be in each other’s lives forever thanks to their child. I thought Sapphire wrote the story well, and had a nice mix of drama, MC action and of course a rekindling romance. It was great to see all the Oath Keepers men again, as it feels like ages since we last saw them. A very good, enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to seeing more from these guys. 4.5 stars for Daydream.

In Princess we got a glimpse of Bethany and Nightmare, and their very fast and short relationship. Now, for the first time in three years Bethany is back and she doesn't come alone. Coming for Princess and Viking's wedding may not have been her best idea, but now that she is there she has to make the best of it and hope against hope that she avoids Nightmare at all costs. Nightmare hasn't forgotten Bethany at all, and the moment he sees her he wants her all over again. What happens when he finds out that she kept something huge from him? Will he forgive her or will the thoughts of making her his old lady go out the window?

I do suggest, like highly suggest, not reading this on its own, the previous books lay a sort of foundation for this, and it really does make the book a whole lot better when you know the characters and situations that are mentioned. This story will give you drama, violence, and steamy sexy times. It was really nice getting to "see" some of the past characters. There were a few things that, for me, I found a bit irritating, and some scenes that I wish we had "seen" so to speak. I give this 4 stars.
