This is the sixth book in the Knights of Sin series, and you really should read them in order before even trying to read this one. This starts straight in the thick of things (again) and Link is being held captive. When Link is forced to do something horrible, he finds it very hard to forgive himself. The only thing he can think of is saving Jordyn when he himself gets rescued. Link never thought that he would really find that one person, the one meant for him, but there is something about Jordyn that makes him feel like for the first time that is possible. Does Jordyn feel the same, or is Link just a means to an end?
This was a fast paced, quick read with danger, violence, some sexy times and a few scenes that... some might find questionable as to whether a line was crossed or not. I hope this wasn't the ending of the series, I give this 4 stars

Erin writes about things that are real-life situations and
fairy tales are not always smooth sailing. My MC books are hard and gritty and
they have struggles just like you would in life.

several that are good love stories that are fraught with issues that the
characters have to deal with. Then there is the dark, twisted book that she
writes that leave you on the edge of your seat asking WTF just happened.
