Intimidating and living by a strong code of ethics, Table’s integrity is unwavering, as is his ironclad will when it comes to safeguarding those he cares about. He’s the man to guard your back, shelter you in time of need, and be the shield.
Just don’t ever lie to him.
Table’s life is turned upside down when he unexpectedly discovers he’s a dad. Trying to navigate his life as a single father to a baby girl, he takes a break from his Dragon Runners MC brothers, moving to the family farm.
When Table meets nomadic Lori, who trades work on the farm for rent, he’s as intrigued as he is wary. She’s a woman who wears her attitude like armor. And despite her fierce independence, Table can see the fear dancing in the shadows of her eyes. It’s enough to make him look that little bit closer.
With the support of his MC brothers, Table not only is reminded that family is more than blood, but that some women are just worth fighting for.

A wanderer needing to work cash in hand, Lori finds herself at Table's family farm exchanging labour for bed and breakfast. Table had moved back to his childhood home after finding out he had a baby girl, looking for the same kind of surroundings for his little Angel that he had himself, not realising he was leaving behind the only family he really needed in his club, the Dragon Runners MC. When Table meets Lori, he sees right through her; yes she may be prickly and independent but her eyes give her away showing she's scared and running from something or someone. Can Table get Lori to trust him enough to share her fears with him, and will he be able to do anything about whatever it is without the "brothers" he is finding he misses more and more?
I really enjoyed Table and Lori's story. In fact I've loved every book in this series so far and the way this author writes really drags me into the story. I hope this isn't the end of the series, maybe the new chapter needs some books, hint hint, but for now Table gets 5 stars from me.

This is book four in the Dragon Runner's MC series, and just to get the maximum enjoyment out of this read, I suggest reading the previous books in the series. That just makes it easier knowing who the character's are and their background stories. Now, last we saw Table, his ex-wife had popped up at the club and left him a gift in the form of a baby that he had no clue had even been made. To make sure that his little Angel has the best possible life he can give her, Table actually moves back home to the farm where he was raised by his grandmother and great aunt. Now, Table's life is diapers, farming, and doing tattoo's in the evening. When the new tenant that his grandmother has brought in catches his eye, Table knows he is gonna have to approach her slowly. He can see that there is something not quite right in how she reacts when he is around, he is just going to have to be patient until she realizes that he can be trusted. But when her past comes back, will she trust Table enough to save her life?
I really liked this story, this has some really good drama and a bit of danger. Low on the naughty times, but given the plot of the story you kind of expect that to be low. I loved seeing the other couples come together in this story, and am really excited to see what's next. I give this 4.5 stars.

I've had stories in my head since I was a child. All sorts of stories of fantasy, romance, mystery and anything else that captured my interest. I'm a voracious reader, and have spent many hours in my life devouring books, therefore it's only fitting I should write a few myself!
I've spent most of my life as a performing musician and band instrument repair technician, but that doesn't mean I'm pigeon-holed into one mold. I've been a university professor, belly dancer, craftsperson, soap maker, singer, rock band artist, jewelry maker, lifeguard, swim coach, and whatever else I feel like exploring. As one of my students said to me once, "Life's too short to ignore the opportunities." I have no intention of ever stopping so welcome to my story world. I hope you enjoy it!
