This is not a standalone so don't read it like
it is. This is a second gen story, the fact that it's book 9 of this second gen
series should be enough to know not to read it on it's own and should only be
read after the previous stories. Why? You can't possibly get all the feels and
understand all the mentions of previous happenings and characters and all that
jazz. Now that my PSA is over, I will step down from my soap box and tell you
just how amazing this story is.
Talon is Nico and Sophie's son, we don't
really get a lot about him previously, but now he is back home and he and Bax
are going into business together. Mia has moved to town to help her sister out.
She ended up getting lucky and getting a job selling cars and ends up meeting
Talon in a really different way... he ends up saving her life during a tornado.
Once everything quiets down again, Talon ends up finding Mia and asks her out.
Of course Mia says no, she is not in town to find a guy, she is there to help
her sister. If Mia thought Talon would take no for an answer she was sadly
mistaken, Talon knows that he cannot let Mia go, especially when he figures out
that the curse is real and she is his BOOM!
I don't want to leave this world!!! ARR has
created this world where there is just the right amount of drama, danger,
naughty bits, and the cherry on top is the perfect amount of alpha-maleness.
Talon and Mia's story was perfect! I give this 5 stars.
