When Duke goes back home for his father's funeral, he doesn't imagine that he would find the one person that will make his life complete, and in a place he swore to never go back to. All Shanna wants is to get out of this town, away from the MC life. She has bigger and better things planned, but one thing is for sure, she never planned on Duke, someone almost twenty years older to come into the picture. Now, the two are at odds, they want each other, burn for each other, but other than that nothing about their lives match up. When Duke has to go back home, will he leave with Shanna on the back of his bike, or will the two part ways before they even get started.
So Jax Hart is a new to me author, and I really did quite enjoy this story. There were a few things that just really irritated me, but that's on me not the author. This was like watching an episode of SOA play out in my head. With drama, violence, really freaking hot sexy times, stubborn males with their equally stubborn counterpart, everything that a good MC story needs. I give this 5 stars.
