Title: Incredible Us
Series: Me, You, and Us
Author: Deanndra Hall
Genre: Erotic Romance, BDSM

Tour Host: DRC Promotions

Synopsis

A homeless young woman. A respected, mature Dominant. And too many years between them.
Dave Adams has been alone ever since his wife left him for her girlfriend years before. Of course, he's not alone: Managing Bliss, an elegant, members-only BDSM club, is his life, and with submissives galore, Master Dave has whatever he wants, whenever he wants it. He's seen his son and his son's best friend both find the loves of their lives, but Dave knows his time's up.
But that was before he opened the back door to take out the night's garbage and found a young homeless woman trapped between him and the dumpster. Compassionate to a fault, Dave invites here in and tries to reach out to her, only to discover that a hideousness has transpired and left her more than just damaged. As he, Clint, and Steffen, with the help of Trish and Sheila, manage to draw out Olivia's demons and help her begin to confront them, something unexpected happens - Dave finds himself responding to Olivia's softness and vulnerability, and her to his dominance and loving guidance.
And just when it seems their May/December romance might stand a chance, a plan gone wrong convinces Dave that the last place Olivia needs to be is in his arms. He finds a way to send her on to bigger and better things, but when her whereabouts become unknown, Dave discovers that maybe dates on a calendar don't mean that much at all. Problem is, unless he can find her, it won't matter.
Return to Bliss and the characters you've grown to love in this final installment in the Me, You, and Us series, and find out what it takes to break into that scared, worn out heart in Dave Adams' chest.
WARNING: Adult situations and graphic sex. Not intended for audiences under 18 years of age.

Incredible Us

This is the third book in the Me, You and Us series. This book being about Dave and him finding his HEA.

Dave is older than what you would normally find in a typical romance. But then I'm finding Deanndra Hall doesn't write your typical romances. Very good plot. Guy saves girl and they end up developing a relationship after the fact.

Olivia has had a shit life, I mean seriously if it could go wrong, it has happened to Olivia. It really breaks your heart.

Not giving any spoilers, you need to read it if you want to know.

Lots of twists and turns, Dave ends up letting Olivia go, and I totally understood why. Was he with her for the right reasons? Was she with him for the right reasons? In the end it's all about love and overcoming the odds.

Now FOR ME, this book contained certain sexual situations that I don't care for, but that is ME. That may not be you!

I give this 3 3/4 stars.

Teaser

She kisses me. This girl has got to stop this. I’ve got to stop this. I’m trying to stop it, but I can’t, and the kiss just grows and expands. Next thing I know, she’s flat on the bed and I’m on top of her, my hands in her hair, kissing her, pressing her into the mattress. Her fingertips skate up and down the surface of my shirt, and then I feel them slip underneath it. What was throbbing is now rock hard, and it’s difficult to breathe or sit still. God help me, I’m going down and she’s taking me. I’m trying to stop kissing her, and I can’t. This is too much, it’s just too much.

Other Books In The Series

Boring. Tiresome. Predictable. That’s how Trish’s husband of almost 30 years described her when he told her he was leaving. Trish sets out to drink her blues away when she literally stumbles onto a man who offers her the adventure of a lifetime. Trish has no idea what she’s walking into when she visits Bliss, the local BDSM club, but under Dave’s tutelage, she takes to the new lifestyle readily. And when she’s paired for two weeks with Clint, the one Dom in the place who can’t seem to stand her, sparks fly. He keeps her so confused that Trish isn’t sure what’s going on. She’s sure of one thing, however: She’s falling for the handsome, tortured soul, and she’s hoping he’s falling for her. But when a simple mistake puts her in harm’s way at his hands, Trish has to decide: Is it an adventure worth dying for? And when everything falls apart, can she manage to forgive him? More importantly, can he forgive himself and bury the ghosts that have been haunting him for too long? Adventurous Me is a fun, sexy, sweet, explicit, romantic romp that’ll leave you breathless and hopeful. And it’s definitely not for the under-18 crowd.

This was my first read by Deanndra Hall. While I didn't find this a bad read, I also didn't find this a fantastic read either.

So here we have an older divorced woman, Trish, who was told by her ex husband that she was boring, and not adventurous. So Trish goes out with a friend looking for something more. She meets Dave, who introduces her to the delights that are BDSM. This turns out to be what Trish needs. Dave agrees to teach Trish what she needs to know about the lifestyle.

Clint was an ass, and I'm sorry but I want my Doms to be Alphas and Clint was not giving me that at all. The first conversation between Clint and Trish was her asking if this seat is taken and Clint saying no and running away. I get it, I totally understand he has his past issues that need to be worked on  but really.

The next time they talk, is when Dave asks Clint to help with a scene! UM....maybe its just me but in these scenes you do it with someone you trust and have a feel for. NOT someone you don't like and then as cold as he was for this scene, I felt like I just read about a prostitute, and he was just a john getting off. I will stop bad mouthing Clint, I can actually go on more but that gets boring.

I give this a 3, there were lots of sex scenes, it has an HEA, and the story was a good length.

For Sheila, a lie is a deal-breaker. But what if it’s not a lie? What if it’s just not the whole truth? Being a popular Dom at the nicest BDSM club in town would be the top of the mountain for lots of guys, but for Steffen Cothran, it’s meant heartache. He lost someone he thought he might be able to have a future with to his best friend when Trish Stinson and Clint Winstead patched things up. He knows he wants a relationship, but so far he’s had trouble finding that one person, the one he knows he's meant to be with, to make that happen. That all changes when Trish and Clint walk into the club with Trish’s best friend, Sheila Brewster. Even though he's met her, he never really had much contact with her. But Clint has a plan: He’s looking for a Dom to protect Sheila in case her abusive ex-boyfriend manages to get paroled. And Clint happens to think that Steffen is a great candidate for that position. Steffen and Sheila’s relationship starts casually and quickly grows into a promising romance. But one question makes all the difference, and when Steffen doesn’t lie but doesn’t tell the whole truth with his answer, Sheila’s left wondering if she can ever trust anyone again. And when Steffen’s little omission shows up on his doorstep in full-blown chaos, the relationship he’d had such high hopes for is shattered, possibly forever. In the aftermath, Sheila sets a course for self-destruction that turns out to be more dangerous than anyone could’ve imagined. With no one to blame but himself, Steffen finds it hard to help a woman who won’t have anything to do with him. Two broken hearts. One huge mistake. A few really bad choices. And a lifetime of pain if things can’t be righted. It may be impossible to mend the broken trust, and their love could be lost forever. The second in the Me, You, and Us series following Adventurous Me, Steffen’s story in Unforgettable You is funny, smart, sweet, kinky hot, and heartbreaking. It’s a tale of what happens when you forget that there’s not a lot of difference between a lie and a partial truth, and what love really means when two people belong together. WARNING: This book contains explicit sexual situations in graphic detail. Not intended for readers under the age of 18. Reader discretion advised.

(3.5 stars)

This is the second installment in the Me, You, and Us series by Deanndra Hall. I found this one a bit better than the first one. I do suggest you read the first in the series as there are returning characters.

Steffen is a Dom without a sub, Sheila is just learning about the lifestyle. Sheila has been introduced to BDSM through her BFF Trish and has decided to try and move on from a bad situation by trying it out. Steffen is taken with Sheila since the wedding of their mutual friends. When he sees her walk into Bliss, he is once again stunned by her. Sheila and Steffen hit it off rather quickly and they proceed to start a relationship.

But Steffen is hiding a secret, and once Sheila finds out she cuts all ties and moves on. Can Steffen fix the mess he has made, or will Sheila move onto another Dom?

I give this story a 3.5. With an HEA, some drama, and lots of sex scenes.

About The Author

For as long as I can remember, I've been a writer . . .
and it has served me well. I wrote for local publications, wrote marketing and advertising materials, wrote for academic publications, and eventually grew jaded with the writing profession as I often watched others take credit for my hard work. I retreated into the world of 3-D art in the fiber and textile mediums and hid out in a world of colors and textures. But, truth is, there was always a story or two in my head. It wasn't until Nikki and I met in my imagination that I decided it was time to let those stories out, and I'm glad I did. My readers now get to enjoy the fruits of my imagination and, believe me, it runs wild!
On the personal side, I've been happily married to my lover and best friend for over thirty years, and I have two wonderful adult kids who've blessed me with two excellent choices of life partners. When I'm not writing, I'm playing with my three crazy little dogs, hiking in a local recreation area, kayaking, working out at the gym, tending my herbs, cooking, or doing some kind of research.
But I'd really rather be writing!
