( 4.5 Stars)

This is my first read of anything from Alexis Noelle, and it definitely won't be my last.

14 year old Lucy, is running. Running from a seriously messed up family, and she runs right into the warehouse of the Deathstalkers MC where she is found by prospect Jordan. Despite his MC brother, Twisted, wanting nothing to do with her, Jordan manages to get her back to the clubhouse and to the President, Shooter, where her fate will be decided. The answer.. they will protect her until she turns 18. Until that day, she is theirs; with the men instructed to not touch her until she is legally allowed to consent to any approaches, she will cook and clean in exchange for a home and protection.

Jordan, is cursed and saved by the 14 year old runaway he finds. On the one hand, he should be kicked out of the club for being so incompetent to leave the warehouse unlocked over night, meaning Lucy was easily able to get in. But on the other, in order to prove his worth and earn his patch, he is assigned a job instead: Protect Lucy until the day she turns 18. If she, and the club, are still safe and secure by that day, with regards to anything to do with her, then he will earn his patch and become a member of the club. The downside of course... not only is that day 3 years away, a long, long time to be a prospect but there is something about Lucy that draws out his protective side. Plus there is the fact that Lucy is a beautiful girl, who only grows more beautiful and vibrant as the years pass.

As Lucy's 18th birthday arrives, what will happen with her status in the club? Will these big bad bikers that she's come to love as her family, keep her around or turn her away now she's an adult? Will the feelings she's had for Jordan, pretty much since the day they met, be reciprocated now she's legal? Will the club still protect her, when the past meets the present? And will Lucy and Jordan make it through, when the worst thing imaginable threatens to break them apart indefinitely?

Corrupted was a fast paced, drama filled book and I really enjoyed it. So much so, I pretty much read it in one sitting. There were a couple of little things that stop me from giving it a 5, but it's definitely a 4.5 star read for me. I'm definitely keeping my eye out for Heinous, book 2, because I absolutely want to read more from this series.
