An American Muscle novella.

In Quarter Mile Hearts we saw, from Leigh's POV what happened between Leigh and Max, after Leigh returned home following her father's accident. Seeing Max for the first time since they parted.

Now, in Supercharged Love, we get to see, this time from Max's POV what happened from the moment they met, until they parted. The prologue is Max in the hospital, trying to get them to call Leigh to tell her about her dad's accident and while he is waiting for Leigh to return home he reminisces, with chapter one going back to his life just before they met.

I really enjoyed this. It was different getting to read from the male POV for a change and it was nice to get into his head a little after what I'd read about him in the first book. It was nice getting to see the background of the characters we met in Quarter Mile Hearts too, because while there were the occasional flashbacks, the story didn't really go into details.

Now although this is the second book, because of how it is written, i.e. it is basically a memory he is telling us about, In my opinion I don't think it would matter which way round you read these books. QMH starts from her dad's accident and time goes forward. SL starts from her dad's accident but is then a flashback from a different characters POV... whichever way you read them though, and I definitely recommend you do read them, I don't think you will be disappointed or confused.

I'm looking forward to more from Jenny Siegel and I give Supercharged Love 4 stars.
