Ok, so it's been a year since Rose and Noose's stories and now we get to hear from his best friend, Snare, and his one love, Sara, who he has not seen for 5 years. Sara also happens to be Snare's stepsister, but this is not the icky kind of step thing, they only became so when she was 15. For those few years sharing a home, they fell in love while Snare protected Sara from his abusive, violent father, Riker. After finally giving in to each other when she turns 18, she leaves, freeing him from what she sees as his obligation to protect her. Their night together though, left her taking a piece of him with her.
So anyway, after enlisting Noose's help in finding her, they are successful but the situation they find is not ideal. They also find that someone else is looking for her too and so the story becomes one of, rediscovering each other, uncovering secrets and the fighting of past and current enemies. Of course what kind of biker book would this be without a big "thing" happening, and yep, this one has a "thing" lol. It was so well done though, and I like how the author didn't have Sara being completely helpless. That girl has a fire in her that would make any woman proud to have.
I really enjoyed this one. Snare and Sara were well written characters and the enemy element was a bit of a nail biter to be honest, lol. It was certainly a page turner for me anyway. I give Snare 5 stars.
