Mate Hunt #1

So this was the start of Amber Kell's Dragon Men series. It was a bit different then what I was expecting, I have read this author before.... a lot of her shifter books. Jory is a prince, who is being sent to another planet, to see if he can find a mate.... This starts us on a fast paced journey into this other world that Amber Kell has created. What happens when Jory has not one, but two dragon's after him? I want to say more but... I really can't without spoiling everything. What you need to know is man loving is hot, some awesome drama, and an HEA that I can live with. I gave this 4 stars.

Mate Test #2

This is book two in the series, and where we did meet Tor in book one, these really don't have to be read together, more of a standalone.

Tor  finds himself being sent to another planet, for what he thinks is to look at minerals, but instead finds out he has been put up for a mate test. Basically a few men, meet the king and perform tasks and the winner gets to be the kings consort. Naron has a totally different idea and already knows who his mate is... tests be damned.

As usual with any of Amber Kell's work you find some hot M/M action, drama, and a bit of dragon fighting. I give this 3.75 stars.

Mate Dance #3

So this was the third of the Dragon Men series and no you didn't have to read anything in order... there was a mention of the past couples, but nothing that would spoil anything for you. I just like to read things in order... so I did.

Raven is a a celebrity of sorts, he is a dancer. One night he stumbles upon a little girl in trouble, from there he ends up meeting her father, a man who is saying that Raven is his mate. But will Raven just give up what he worked for, will he allow someone to have that much control over his life... what happens if he does put his faith and trust in one person and he ends up getting broken hearted?   Raven will just have to figure this out.

This was an ok read, not as good as the first two, still some mm loving and the drama and even some danger, but it fell a bit flat, so only 3.5 stars.

Mate Healer #4

Lian is a healer, who goes on a mission of sorts to study some dragonkin fertility issues.... when he gets to the new planet.. he ends up bumping into.. literally..  a man who is claiming to be his mate.  This was the story that actually had the most going on,  lots of danger, and backstabbing.... a bunch for such a short story. There is soo much I could actually say, but with how short it is, that's not possible. I give this 4 stars.

Amber Kell has made a career out of daydreaming. It has been a lifelong habit she practices diligently as shown by her complete lack of focus on anything not related to her fantasy world building.
When she told her husband what she wanted to do with her life, he told her to go have fun.
During those seconds she isn't writing, she remembers she has children who humor her with games of 'what if' and let her drag them to foreign lands to gather inspiration. Her youngest confided in her that he wants to write because he longs for a website and an author name—two things apparently necessary to be a proper writer.
Despite her husband's insistence she doesn't drink enough to be a true literary genius, she continues to spin stories of people falling happily in love and staying that way.
She is thwarted during the day by a traffic jam of cats on the stairway and a puppy who insists on walks, but she bravely perseveres.
