When Molly gets sick after nibbling on Grant’s favorite purple toy, he rushes her to the vet clinic where the doctor works. Grant’s embarrassed to admit what Molly ate, but Brodie finds Grant’s reaction charming.
Brodie decides to pursue Molly’s owner, but getting close to Grant is a bigger challenge than he anticipated. When I saw this title and read the blurb I just knew I had to read this...and I was not wrong.
Not going to go all in to detail, but I will say this started out amazing and ended that way. Love when an author can make me laugh out loud and this had some very funny moments.
Grant has to take his poor kitty to the vet cuz she ate something she really should not have. Brodie is the vet on duty when Grant gets there, and sparks fly. But Grant has a past that didn't leave him with the best of confidence, so letting Brodie in is going to be hard.
This was my first time reading Brigham Vaughn and I must say I will look for more. I give this 5 stars.
