Ok so, we haven’t really “met” these characters before. Ryder/Tracker is one of the new guys that join the Deathstalkers MC after the events in the last book. Megan was his teenage love who he met while he was being fostered; Megan’s awful parents being the foster parents in the scenario. Once he aged out of the system though, Megan never saw him again. Now, seven years after leaving her heartbroken, he’s back in town and a member of the town’s motorcycle club. A club that has just hired the firm she works at to help with their finances. Guess who ends up working on the account, meaning she has no choice but to be near Ryder every single day?! How will she handle being so close to the one who left her behind and broke her heart?
Aww, there were a few flashbacks in this book to show you what happened between the teenaged Megan and Ryder and how things ended for the pair. Now they are reunited, they discover things weren’t as they seemed back then, and someone from their past still has it out for them.
This was a good story, although it felt a little off from what I’m used to in this series. I’m hoping Megan’s roommate, Chrissy, gets a biker of her own at some point, but whoever is next I will be reading it. For this one though, I give Sever 4 stars.
