Review Tour ***Sebastian, Sean, & Ryan by Giulia Lagomarsino***

Title: Sebastian: A Mystery Romance
Title: Sean: A Love Triangle Romance
Title: Ryan: A Contemporary Romance
Series: For the Love of a Good Woman
Author: Giulia Lagomarsino
Stubborn. Bull-headed. Sexy as hell. That was Maggie. The woman that I was currently protecting. As owner of Reed Security, I didn't really go into the field that often, but I was coerced into playing bodyguard for the trouble making reporter. She didn't listen to a damn thing I said and was constantly putting herself in danger. This story she was investigating was going to get her killed if she didn't learn to listen. More troubling than that was the fact that I was seriously attracted to her and was having a hard time keeping my hands off her. She was a distraction that I really needed to avoid if I wanted to keep us both alive.
Tall. Rugged. Lethal. Words that didn't even begin to describe Sebastian, the man that was supposed to be protecting me. I found that I liked to push his buttons and get a reaction out of him. It kept things exciting. He also wasn't bad at keeping me alive, which was a bonus when every other minute someone was trying to kill me. Now if only I could get him to stop resisting me. I seriously needed a way to let off some steam and he was the perfect distraction. Still, I had to stay focused and get to the bottom of this story before I ended up at the bottom of the river wearing a pair of cement shoes.

Sean
Vira is every man's fantasy. She's sexy as hell and dynamite in bed, but I can't get her to commit to me. After finally seeing the light, I walk away, determined to move on. She's always there, though. She pulls me back in, making it impossible to walk away and always hoping this will be the time I'll change her mind. Lillian is prim, proper, and a grammar Nazi. She drives me absolutely insane, but under all that is a sexy teacher waiting for someone to help her let loose. She drives me crazy, both mentally and physically, but I'm not sure she's the woman for me. Lillian Sean is exactly the type of man I need to avoid. I'm not everything I appear to be and if he took the time to get to know me, he would see that. Sean isn't one to stick around, though. He's crazy about a woman that is the complete opposite of me. How could I ever hope that he would see me the way he sees her? Vira I'm crazy about Sean, but he wants something I can't offer. No matter how many times he tells me he's through with me, he always comes back for more. Lately, though, he's been seeing another woman who is nothing like me. He seems to really like her and so do his friends. If I don't step up and make things right between us, I'll lose him for good.

Ryan
I would do anything to have what my friends have, the love of a good woman. Cassandra's that woman. I've known it since I met her two years ago. I've been chasing her since we finished our joint project at VAS, but she keeps turning me down. She's gone out with me and met my friends, but she wouldn't date me. Now I know why. I would do anything, give anything to help her and hopefully prove to her that I am the man that she needs. But will this one thing I can give her be enough to keep her?
Cassandra
Ryan is the one man that could make me rethink everything I've been telling myself for the last two years. From the moment we met, I felt a pull to him and knew he had the ability to change my life. There's nothing more I would like than to give in and be with him, but my circumstances have me holding back. When someone from my past came back and threatened everything I held dear, Ryan stepped up and proved to be the man I always suspected he was. Now if I can just let my heart believe it's real.

Sebastian

(4 Stars)

Sebastian is book five in the For the Love of a Good Woman series, and TBH he was one of the ones I was looking forward to reading about. Sebastian runs a security firm and is hired to protect Maggie, a reporter whose story may be the death of her. Maggie stumbled onto a huge story, and she would not be a good reporter if she didn't try and get the scoop, even with bullets being fired all around her. When her boss hires Sebastian, the last thing Maggie needs is someone that is going to impede her progress with this story, but given no choice she is dragged along with Sebastian while he tries to keep her safe. The only issue is that Maggie doesn't like to follow orders, and feels that she is just fine without him.... but is she really?

So this was a good story, with lots of action, drama, good naughty times. I loved seeing the whole gang, they bring lots of laughs when they are together. I give this 4 stars.

Sean

(3 Stars)

I was so not looking forward to Sean's book, and pretty much just read it as it was part of the series. This is my least favorite trope to read, but to my surprise I ended up enjoying Lillian's character, she had me LOLing and relaying her British slang to my bestie.

Since Logan's story, Sean and Vira have had an on and off thing, Vira maintaining that she is only in open relationships, nothing serious and Sean just going along with what she wanted, but wanting more with her. When Sean finally has had enough, he and Vira part ways. After a few months, Sean meets Lillian, and finally feels that maybe he can move past the feelings that he has for Vira. But Lillian is not like other girls, in fact, she is the complete opposite of Vira. When after some persistence on Sean's part, Lillian gives him a chance and the two start to date, what happens when Vira comes back demanding that Sean take her back, and that she is who he needs to be with? What direction will Sean go?

So, I will say that I really disliked Vira, and I didnt really like Sean all that better. I was happy that the author had him realize what a d-bag he was being. At one point Lillian deserved someone a whole lot better than Sean. He just came off as someone that had no clue what he wanted. I did give this 3 stars, as Lillian had me cracking up and that was worth the boost in the star rating.

Ryan

(1 Star)

Ryan and Cassie, I have wanted their book since he did up her shirt at their first meeting in Logan's book. The two have kind of danced around anything happening between them; Cassie has been keeping Ryan at arms length, and Ryan of course wanting to have some sort of relationship with Cassie. When Ryan finds out that Cassie has a kid, it comes as a bit of a shock, but he handles it, and even offers his help in the situation that Cassie finds herself in. Ryan offers to marry her, so that she has a better leg to stand on in her custody hearing. Cassie at first is nervous but takes Ryan up on his offer, and soon her son, James and herself end up moving into Ryan's cabin with him. When the three are thrown together in an instant family, it will take patience and a willingness to work things out, for them to make this arrangement work. The offer is until the custody hearing is done, but what happens if Cassie and Ryan decide that they don't want this arrangement to end?

So, this was well on its way to a 5 star read, and then the author pulled a twist at 80% that I did not see coming. Now, I don't even want to read anymore from this author. This is supposed to be how she ends the series???? WTH is that! What was working to be my fav of all 7 books is now  a 1 star rating.

I'm a stay at home mom that loves to read. Some of my favorite titles are Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Horatio Hornblower. I started writing when I was trying to come up with suggestions on ways I could help bring in some extra money. I came up with the idea that I could donate plasma because you could earn an extra $500/month. My husband responded with, "No. Find something else. Write a blog. Write a book." I didn't think I had anything to share on blog that a thousand other mothers hadn't already thought of. I decided to take his challenge seriously and sat down to write my first book, Jack. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed writing. From there, the stories continued to flow and I haven't been able to stop. I hope my readers enjoy my books as much as I enjoy writing them. Between reading, writing, and taking care of three small kids, my days are quite full.
