(4 stars)
The second of the Rixon Raiders, and we start off after the happenings in book one. So be sure to read the first, The Trouble With you, before this. Felicity is Hailee's best friend, and has been there from the start. She knows just what trouble Jason Ford is, but for some reason she has this strong pull towards him. After one night, Flick, knew the score, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt any less. Why does she let him play these games with her?
Jason has been trained for one thing, getting into the NFL. After all the family drama we saw in book one, when the truth came out, Jason has had even less to do with his father and step-mother, while Hailee and he have somewhat of a truce working. Jason knows that he shouldn't have took it as far with Felicity as he did, but he couldn't help himself. Now, he maintains his distance, making sure that she knows just what that one night was, a mistake. But if that's true, why does he care what she is doing and who she is talking to? Why does he have this pull? Is this just another game he has to win?
Once again I completely forgot these were high schoolers. This was such a good read, it grabbed me and didn't let go until the very end, and even then I wanted more. I'm not going to spoil anything, I will say this story has loads of drama, hot naughty bits and a little bit of violence. I am a tiny bit disappointed in Jason and Felicity there were a few things that I didn't care for, in the end I give it 4 stars.
