Series: Boston Terriers Hockey
Author: Jacob Chance
Genre: New Adult/Sports Romance
Release Date: June 26, 2020
Attending Boston University was something we were supposed to do together, until Shaw Masters, my brother’s best friend, broke my heart and chased our dream without me.
Choosing bromance over romance, Shaw is now living his best life, playing hockey for the Boston Terriers while I’ve wasted a year letting my shattered heart rob me of my future.
But not anymore.
Now, also attending B.U., I’m determined to forget he exists.
Who cares if he’s everywhere I turn with his familiar, lingering gaze drawing me in?
Who cares if his presence stirs up old feelings best forgotten?
He might be the goalie, but it’s my turn to block him from gliding back into my heart.

There is a line, a code, that best friends
don't cross. Girls have them, you never go for a friend's ex or the guy they
are crushing on, simple. Guys, its more about the sisters, you never get
involved with your best friend's sister.
Shaw has always looked at Maddie with interest BUT he never acted on
that. Until one summer the two draw closer and do indeed cross that line. When
push came to shove, Shaw didn't own up to the relationship and Maddie called it
quits. Months later when Shaw finally gets a chance to see Maddie again, he
will do whatever he can to get a second chance. But has Maddie blocked him from
any chance of going down that road again?
I really like these stories from Jacob
Chance, we get drama and some naughty bits thrown in. I felt that this was a
bit rushed, and wanted a whole lot more from Maddie and Shaw. I felt like they
were just bam together and that's it. I give this 4 stars.
Jacob Chance grew up in New England and still lives there today. He's a martial artist, a football fan, a practical joker and junk food lover.
A writer of sports romcoms and romantic suspense, he plans on providing you with many more stories.
