PSA: This is part of a series, there are returning character's and  to save yourself from being all kinds of confused, it would be easier on your part if you read the previous books first.  I'm just sayin...

I can't even begin to tell you how much I loved this story, maybe it's Lani's writing, maybe it was Sterling and the fact that now I need to buy a house with a front porch. IDK. What I do know is this was FANTASTIC!  I laughed, I cried like a baby, I was..... hot, all good things when you are in a world that Lani has created for us.

Sterling, had a rough life, and is now living a WAY better one as a SEAL and a member of the Dixie Wardens MC. Ruthie also got shafted in the life giveaway it seemed, and is now trying to move on with her life after prison. Not going to leave spoilers cuz I want you to enjoy their ride, but Sterling and Ruthie coming together was ..... such a crazy journey. I am a lil sad, at the end I was getting the feel that this may be the last of the Dixie Wardens MC and just like with the last of the Freebirds series, I teared up. I give this 5 huge stars.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.
