Lili happens to meet Denim in the most awkward place. After a brief conversation, Denim gives Lili his card and tells her to call if she needs help. When Lili ends up beaten and having no where to go and no one to turn too, she calls Denim. What starts with that phone call will change her life for the better. Denim knew there was something about Lili, something inside him wants to take care of her and protect her. But with Denim comes the dangers that his lifestyle brings, can he keep her safe when a new threat comes to town or will he lose his chance at happiness?

Lili has had a rough time of it, and its just going to get worse, Denim seems to be the answer to her prayers. I went through the majority of this story giving it a solid 4 stars, until I got to the ending, and then it dropped to 3.75. I felt that it was a bit rushed in the end, the sexy times were just hinted at for the most part, and some of the things just made no sense. Not going to leave any spoilers, that's just IMO. So this gets 3.75 stars.

Tee Smith released her debut novel Collecting Scars in 2016. She always wanted to write professionally, but as it does, life got in the way and she only took up writing novels after she turned 40.
Tee lives on a small farm in Western Australia, with a host of animals, including two donkeys. As well as writing, she is also a nurse, wife and mother to four teenagers.
