Seduction picks up right where Deception left off. For those that don’t know Deception, it’s a little novella that takes place a short while after Claimed, so you may want to check that out to get the full picture of what’s going on.
Ellen, Gage’s sister, has grieved for her dead Ol’ Man, Eddie, for the past 4 years. She’s been alone ever since and now her brother has found his happy with Raven, she’s realising just how lonely she is. When Raven points out that she should try and get to maybe know Einstein/Jon/Dr. E better she begins to see him in a new light other than her big brother's best friend.
Einstein, VP of the Death Dealers MC is lonely. He loves being part of the MC, and he loves the fact that his best friend and MC brother Gage has found love. But, it only points out to him just what he himself doesn’t have. Gage has Raven, he hasn’t even touched the club hounds for years, let alone anyone else. Gage is the MC through and through, he loves the MC but he’s also a doctor at the local hospital and so has a life away from the club.
When Ellen makes her attraction to him known he isn’t sure how to react. On the one hand she’s gorgeous, he’s known her since they were kids, she’s definitely more forever girl than club girl and she’s already like family seeing as she’s Gage’s little sister. But she’s his dead brother’s Ol’ Lady; mother to his 4 year old son, she’s his best friend’s little sister, and he knows for a fact that she still grieves for Eddie. He doesn’t want to upset his friend, he doesn’t want to betray his brother, and more than anything he doesn’t want to be a onetime thing. He wants his own version of forever. But Ellen letting him know how she feels, opens his eyes to the possibilities of what has been in front of him the whole time.
This story was quite sweet. Both Ellen and Jon wanted to try to be together, but neither really knew the best way to go about it. A bit of MC action, romance, life or death drama and some cute little interactions with Mikey, Ellen’s son, fill this story. I enjoyed it and give it 5 stars.
