So I just finished a Woodlands reading binge, and yes you must read all of the previous stories, in order, as nothing will make sense. Finally, we get Adam's story, and he pretty much tells you, in a way that I have come to expect from him, that he knew the moment he saw her that she was his endgame, there would be no others. Seriously that's his first line, and he proved it, but getting to the point where this mysterious woman is his and his alone, now that proves to be more of a difficult journey.
Landry's brother, Davis, is the new lead singer for the band FMK, and just when they get an opportunity to go on tour, Landry's life once again gets threatened. Davis not wanting this chance go by, works a deal with Adam, that Landry go but only if Adam helps keep Landry safe, from her stalker and from the guys on the tour. Adam has now shook hands on a deal that keeps him from pursuing the girl of his dreams. Can he figure out a way to keep his promise, while at the same time getting Landry to realize that she belongs with him?
This has so much more going for it, between the stalker, the forbidden romance, and band drama. I do think this was... a bit different from the other 4 in the series, but not in a bad way, just a bit slower. Jen Frederick still brings an awesome story line, with hot sexy times! I give this 5 stars, I am ready for Mal's story now.
