WOW!! Talk about throwing a curve, Family Secrets was awesome. I am not one of the girls that has jumped on the step-brother train; but this is Kasey Millstead, so I had to give this a try. For those of you that are also not on the train, I can tell you, NO they are not raised together. More of her mother married his father when Brock was already in college, while Cassie is almost 18. So no ick factor.
The story starts in the present, and goes back and forth a couple times. Cassie, a single mother, is signed up to do a dating show. Brock is one of the contestants. When their eyes lock, well let’s just say things get interesting and the past is never quite left in the past. A nice fast read for me, Kasey Millstead has once again proven that she writes sexy, entertaining reads.
Not going to give spoilers, because you have to read it to find out the juicy stuff. I was disappointed for one reason and one reason only. I wanted more. I give this 4.5 MJ stars.
