Cessy's father has been murdered. She knows it. Everyone knows it. She even knows who murdered him. Unfortunately, there was only her and her father who knew there was a secret being kept that caused it, so how does she prove who killed him when she's not even entirely sure why? You see Cessy's father was the President of the Reapers MC and now she can't trust them, she has to turn to her bestie, Havoc, who happens to be a brother in the Silent Sons MC, for help.

Venom is the enforcer of the Silent Sons MC and as such he is normally cold, broody and takes no crap, especially not some woman drinking his tequila. He doesn't care if she is drop dead gorgeous, or that she's a club Princess. He won't baby her, it's not his thing. An error in judgement though brings the wrath of his President and he ends up on babysitting duty, keeping an eye on Cessy. When he finds out her secrets though, he realises his first impression of her was wrong, and in fact she seems to actually be the first to thaw his cold heart.

Will the Sons be able help Cessy figure it all out and bring the killer to justice? Will Venom and Cessy get a chance at happiness or will everybody end up in the ground when their investigations get them poking a little bit too close to the enemy?

I really enjoyed this. It was a great introduction to all the characters and had a great mix of action, drama and romance. It even had a few twists thrown in, one of which sets up the story for book two, Havoc. I'll be diving straight into that as I want to know what's going to happen next and I give Cessy 4.5 stars.
